Join us in supporting the United Way of Greater New Bedford’s Hunger Commission! Our Care Free Crew will be assembling Thanksgiving meal baskets for those in need! 500 Thanksgiving Day baskets will be created and delivered – each inclusive of a turkey, 2 vegetables, potatoes or rice, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and breakfast items.

The Hunger Commission is the only local program that organizes food distribution to emergency food pantries and kitchens in 21 locations in Bristol County. Annually, the Hunger Commission distributes hundreds of thousands pounds of food – including fresh, locally grown produce – to local programs for those in need.
