Fun 107 and United Way of Greater New Bedford are making a difference with the Holiday Wishes program. Last year, they helped local families get gifts for their families, repaired cars, assisted with rent and even gifted a local girl with Spina Bifida a special bike so she could ride with her siblings.
Holiday Wishes encourage local businesses and sponsors, as well as listeners, to donate their services or gifts to make a struggling family’s holiday season much brighter.
All families are selected by the United Way of Greater New Bedford through a submission process from local shelters and community organizations. This year, seven very deserving local families will be highlighted on air on the Rock and Fox Show. This year Care Free Homes was able to help the Delorey Family of New Bedford. We were happy to provide them with two car seats and four boxes of diapers. Watch the video below to hear their story.
