Thanks to a heartfelt nomination and overwhelming love and support from friends and family, Sherri won our 2016 No Roof Left Behind contest by a landslide! We teamed up with her daughter, Teisha, and United Way of Greater New Bedford President, Michelle Hantman, to surprise Sherri with the news of her big WIN! Once we started Sherri’s roofing project we were given surprises of our own! We discovered her roof was covered w
ith three layers of shingles (building code only permits 2 layers) and an extensive amount of rotted deck boards.
