PRESS RELEASE: United Way of GNB supporting No Roof Left Behind

September 9, 2015 — Fairhaven, MA—Care Free Homes, Inc. of Fairhaven, MA is proud to announce a partnership with the United Way of Greater New Bedford, GAF Roofing, and No Roof Left Behind to give one deserving Bristol County homeowner a new roof this fall.

No Roof Left Behind, a national initiative founded in 2009, was designed to help communities and local contractors gather together to support a local, needy family. Family, friends, or neighbors nominate a deserving homeowner, four finalists are selected, and then the community votes online to choose the winner.

“United Way of Greater New Bedford is thrilled to partner with Care Free Homes on this amazing opportunity for a family in need. When you are struggling to make ends meet, home repairs often times fall low on the priority list” said Michelle N. Hantman, President of United Way

Care Free Homes is the exclusive No Roof Left Behind contractor for Bristol County and has rallied the support of other local businesses to join this special community event.

The No Roof Left Behind finalists and winner will receive free products and services from local business sponsors such as Mahoney’s Building Supply,Yard Boss Landscape Design,Roland’s Tire Service, Neighborhood Auto Services, The Pasta House, and Black Tie Cookies.
