This standard colonial style house started with clapboard siding on the front and cedar shingles on the sides and rear. This house also had an old 3-tab style roof. We removed all the roofing material down to the roof plywood. We installed CertainTeed’s Winter Guard water and ice shield and Roofer’s Select roof underlayment to the roof. We installed CertainTeed Landmark roof shingles for an architectural look.

We built a gable room over a new front landing using Azek decking material for the decking and stairs. The railings are CertainTeed Panorama composite railings.
We installed Mastic Carvedwood 44 siding in the color Colonial Yellow. All the trim work was done in aluminum trim. Our installers are able to custom bend the aluminum to hide the j pocket within the trim. This eliminates the need for visible j-channel and makes the job look more like traditional wood without the maintenance.
