This is our 2nd annual holiday decorating contest and we were so excited to see the beautiful entryways from our SouthCoast neighbors! This year’s winners hail from Acushnet, Fairhaven, and South Dartmouth and were chosen for their holiday spirit and/or creative presentation. Congratulations to everyone who won and thank you to all joined the festive fun!
First Place Winner, Wendi from Fairhaven, Massachusetts In addition to her sweet pup, Bayne, we loved Wendi’s “Red & White Nautical 
Christmas with a Touch of Great Dane” theme! A golden star fish wearing a Santa hat, a pair of oars fastened with a red bow and evergreens, and bundles of birchwood tied with red ribbon are just a few of the accents we loved about this entryway! She and her husband harvested greens from the woods in their backyard and added just enough holiday fun for classic yet whimsical curb appeal. Wendi won a $100 VISA gift card, Black Tie Cookies, and a 1 Year Subscription to South Coast Almanac!
Second Place Winners, Heather and Darryl of South Dartmouth, Massachusetts
Heather was happy to credit her husband for winning second place with her “Thank God for my husband during Covid” theme! We love this beautiful family’s simple yet elegant portico decor. Wreaths and greens adorned with red and silver ornaments look perfect with the red plaid pajamas of their children. Third Place Winners, Lisa and Mike from Acushnet, Massachusetts
Lisa and Mike were excited to decorate the farmer’s porch of their new Acushnet, MA home with a “Farmhouse Christmas” theme! A rustic wreath features a vintage “Merry Christmas” wood sign, frosted pine cones, red berries, and sparkley ornaments. An adorable door mat, buckets of greens, and country Christmas decor make this entryway cute and cozy.
