FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – January 9, 2021 – Fairhaven, MA – Care Free Homes, Inc., a local home improvement company, announced the finalists of their 6th Annual New Year, New Roof Giveaway; the community will vote online January 10-15, 2021 to choose the winner of a GAF roof.
Earlier this month, communities from Cape Cod, Rhode Island, and Southeastern Massachusetts nominated deserving homeowners to be recipients of a GAF Timberline HDZ roofing system at absolutely no cost. Care Free Homes, Inc. selected five finalists who will advance to the voting stage. The five finalists include Jane and Michael Bailey of Newport, RI; Hilda Lopes from New Bedford, MA; Peter and Pam Mathieu of Fall River, MA; Kelly Ochoa of Fairhaven, MA; and Francis Tichelaar of Taunton, MA.

We are excited to move forward and provide much-needed positivity and encouragement to our struggling neighbors. The New Year, New Roof Giveaway is made possible thanks to a partnership between Care Free Homes, Inc. and GAF Roofing. Black Tie Cookies, United Way of Greater Fall River, and United Way of Greater New Bedford also support the program as community partners. Black Tie Cookies donates their gourmet cookie bouquets to all the finalists and the winner. United Way assists with community outreach.
