Stephanie Pickup, Care Free Homes Marketing Coordinator, received the Unsung Hero award for her volunteer work in the SouthCoast, MA community.
The Friends of Jack Foundation, a local non-profit dedicated to underserved children and pediatric programming in the region’s hospitals, highlights people who make our communities a better place. They surprise their Unsung Hero honorees with a yard full of signs, gifts, and a Facebook Live announcement on New Bedford Guide.
Friends of Jack Foundation Founder, Jill Fearons, had this to say during the surprise announcement:
“Stephanie does so much for the community. Not just for the Friends of Jack, but she puts tireless efforts into the United Way as well as her dedicated service to Gnome Surf…When I first met her I was inspired by her. You always see her smiling with her amazing family giving back to the community.”
