We’re excited to be sponsors of the Annual West Island 5k & Fairhaven Father’s Day Road Race!
Be sure to stop by our tent at both events to grab post race refreshments, Care Free goodie bags, and balloons. We’ve been long-time supporters of both races as they both donate proceeds to worthy groups, organizations, and initiatives within our community. Here are quick details for each one:
West Island 5k Run/Walk and Kids Mile Fun Run:
With scenic views along the coast of West Island, this flat course is perfect for beginner runners and veteran runners alike! Prize money is awarded to the first, second, and third males and females. The first 500 Runners/Walkers of the 5k are guaranteed a beach towel or t-shirt. Awards ceremony, raffles, and post race refreshments are also provided. Proceeds from this race support the Strive and Achieve initiative as well as the Fairhaven High School Cross Country athletic program.

Fairhaven Father’s Day 5k and 10k Road Race:
Celebrating 45 years, this is one of the BEST races in the SouthCoast!! The post race food is amazing – from the traditional fruit and water to ice cream, pizza, donuts (runners earn a treat right?!) and more!! Thousands of runners of all ages participate in this race every year. Beginners enjoy the 5k and experienced runners enjoy the challenge of a 10k. Awards are given to the top father/daughter and father/son teams, top female/male Fairhaven residents, as well as top 3 males/females from 10 age categories! The first 2,000 runners receive a race t-shirt. The first 1,000 runners receive a commemorative mug. Organized by the Days Family of Fairhaven, they have donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to local charities and organizations.
